About I Like Music
I Like Music® was founded in 2000 and launched in 2001 as an independent voice in an industry saturated by big corporations. The site was launched by a small team of young people who like music, for others who like music.
It’s been tough and demanding, but now, in its 9th successful year online, I Like Music® includes a huge range of artist interviews, from The Pussycat Dolls, 50 Cent, Alicia Keys, Nelly Furtado, Grandmaster Flash and The Stone Roses to Noah and The Whale, Hybrid, Editors, Pendulum, Deadmau5, DJ Format, DJ Yoda and Beardyman, plus a broad collection of cross genre music content covering Pop, Hiphop, Rock, Dance, Indie and Urban. We also run up to date news, features, competitions and live reviews...
The I Like Music Editorial Policy: To Respect Music
I Like Music will:
1. Entertain, inform and inspire all who like music through relevant, well researched and worthwhile content.
2. Support and respect artists, musicians and the music industry through fully licensed music streams and an honest, reliable and creative approach to all that we do.
I Like Music aims to enhance the experience of a traditional music magazine through a partnership between top line editorial content and interactive, forward thinking technology. The love/hate relationship between the internet and the music industry is an ongoing issue that affects both the consumer and the artist. With a devotion to all music made with passion, I Like Music aims to play a key role in the healthy growth and development of the digital music world.

I Like Music because...

kayla brooke: ilikemusic because... the lyrics say the words that you cant. And it helps me start out on a good foot everyday =)

lolo: ilikemusic because... music is where some people display affection, show emotions and actually showing off who they are and their thinking. it is special unlike anything cos it goes out and never comes in back but in others.

Keysor Sose: ilikemusic because... it's the best you can feel legally ;-)

Master Gee: ilikemusic because... It gives me an opportunity to truly express myself, unlike what happens in an everyday living situation where there are restrictions on you and limitations on you and demands on you and bills to pay, through music I can truly be comfortable with who I am, and do what I really want to do and say what I really want to say.

Martin Rowe-Miller: ilikemusic because... it enabled me to win the Motorokrstar UK competition and record with Wyclef and Fergie.

Scott, Thin Lizzy: ilikemusic because... It lets my adrenalin start pumping, it gets aggression out, and sometimes I can actually get emotional with it. There are many reasons why I like music.
