The PRS Foundation for New Music (PRSF) is the UK's largest independent funder purely for new music of any genre. Over the past 7 years PRSF has proved itself a significant force in supporting pioneering musical activity.
The PRSF provides essential core support for creators, performers and producers of new music of all genres in the UK, while also underpinning individual new music projects. Since March 2000 it has supported over 2500 new music initiatives with a total of £9.5 million.

Jun: ilikemusic because... music can convey a mood, enhance a mood or change a mood. Music can be used to inspire and the artform is simple yet complicated. It's fun to listen to and even more fun to create and perform. It speaks when just a simple word can't. It's a blessing!!
Desyn Masiello: ilikemusic because... It saved my life!
Steff, Webmaster Musebr.com: ilikemusic because... the shows are very good, we make friends, we jump, and everybody scream so loud, and for a moment we forget all the problems of the world!
Jo Whiley: ilikemusic because... It makes me laugh and it makes my cry and it gets me out of a stress if I’m in a stress, and, if I’m in a good place then it will make me in a better place. It’s all about the emotion, it’s all about the feeling where music takes you to and what affect it has on you.
Chris, Orson: ilikemusic because... Well, is there anything else? Music is the perfect thing, it makes you feel good, it makes you feel sad, it makes you feel happy, what else is there?

Ryan, OneRepublic: ilikemusic because... It is the soundtrack to my life every day.
