The wait is finally over. After months of anticipation Carl Cox and 23rd Century Records join forces to release the balmy house masterpiece `Give Me Your Love' on October 4th. The track is the first single to be taken from Carl's eagerly awaited third artist album `The Second Sign.'
`Give Me Your Love' is the perfect kick-off to a Sunday afternoon at Space, as the sun glints through the palms its honeyed vocals and grimy bass send a ripple through The Terrace. Valentino Kanzyani heads up the re-rub duties and nods nostalgically to Alcatraz with his galloping bongo licks and purring synths, while the Slow and Low mix shuffles through smoggy bass and ebbing electro.
"With the new track I want people to think `Wow, I didn't realize he made music like that,"' smiles Carl. "I played it to Pete Tang and he compared it to Inner City's `Good Life' and Farley and Heller's `Big Love.' I was bowled over by the compliment. Everyone always seems to think I just play techno, but just because I love techno doesn't mean I can't appreciate other styles."
