ILM: Do you have problems knowing when to finish?
Deadmau5: Um...well yeah...all the time. I'm never truly happy with a particular track at the end of it. It's tough, you know. But it gets to the point where you just gotta say 'You know what, thats good enough' It must be a real crappy thing to hear someone say. Cos everyone who appreciates what you do doesn't like to think you are not giving it your all. But you have to do it. Especially if you are working on so many projects at the same time. I have the BSOD, the Melle Fresh, myself and then working on someone elses remixes to do. So there is a lot of gear switching going on. If I were to spend 4 months on just perfecting that one little track then thats me living on the street for the next three years!
