DEMETRIOS: Song based. There's a lot of music out there lyrically about sexual love, touch this, touch that, but in the dance world it is mostly about someone you find attractive and how you feel and what you want to do them and sometimes you get those inspirational track. I'm not critisising anyone else's work but more often than not they are vocal loops, there aren't verses or middle eight's and proper song structures so I don't know how they'd transfer acoustically. Whereas ours definitely work acoustically because they were all written on the piano a long time ago. Meeting Mike a couple of years ago helped us realise them in this genre. And it was really difficult to begin with because Mike had to cut some of the songs up because some songs just don't work in that dance format, but the more we worked together and the more material we developed adapted to this genre, we seem to be getting better at. The next track I'm sure will be pretty intact and he won't need to cut it up, which'll be a first.
