Layers of Sound and The Demetrios Project chat to I Like Music
These songs were written a long time ago with Omar a songwriter who now lives in Japan and we've had a 12 year song writing relationships. The inspiration for the songs come from daily life.
BELONDA: All the material is original material from Demetrious, music and lyrically speaking. We're really good friends and we have similar tastes and I kind of know what he wants. And he leads me towards specific things that he wants to hear. Mostly I've had a lot of space to improvise and express myself as a singer, but always following his indications; we work really well together. He knows what he can get out of me and I know what he wants, so it's a good team.
