Pure Pacha mixed by Pete Tong and Sarah Main

Following the success of the Pure Pacha parties in Ibiza, Gut Records present Pure Pacha the album mixed by residents Pete Tong and Sarah Main.

Pure Pacha is a Double CD, with the first mixed by Pete Tong who treats the listener to the sounds that will be rockin' Pacha's dancefloor throughout the summer. He kicks of with Kris Menace - Jupiter (Work it Baby) and includes other gems by Tiefschwarz, Fedde Le Grand, Royksopp as well as an exclusive new track that Pete has produced with Paul Harris & Jay P.

Says Pete: "After a flying start for the opening party, Pure Pacha keeps getting better and better. For my mix I have tried to pick tracks that will be timeless for the season and reflect the flavour of what Pure Pacha is about. It's sexy, cool melodic house music…and a bit twisted…."

For CD2 Sarah Main steps up to the decks mixing up tracks by the likes of Bookashade, Funk D'Void and Loleatta Holloway. Sarah has been resident at Pacha, Ibiza for 5 years and knows what works on the dancefloor. Hailing from Australia, Sarah's personality encompasses everything one would expect from a DJ, she is vibrant, creative and confident and her groove is all about playing music that makes people want to party. Sarah also hosts the new Pacha radio show on the Galaxy Network from 9-11pm every Friday night.

Says Sarah: "This mix is little bit more upbeat than the previous Pure Pacha album and has a stronger electro edge, but ever present is the underlying funk. I tried to choose tracks that I thought would really have an impact on the sound of summer 2006 and also showcased some brand new tracks off the up and coming Pacha Recordings label."

Pure Pacha is now in it's 4th consecutive year after building a reputation for combining musical quality, glamour and escapism, with Pete describing it as; 'A 'wonderland' for grown ups who don't want to grow up just yet...!' Pure Pacha is also renowned for its imaginative artwork and poster campaigns. This year they have enlisted the talents of Christian Audigier of Von Dutch & Ed Hardy fame, whos design also features on the CD Sleeve.
