Independiente announce the reissue of Ulrich Schnauss' highly acclaimed albums A Strangely Isolated Place and Far Away Trains Passing By and his new EP Stars (available as download only).
Championed by musical greats like Robin Guthrie and Kevin Shields and compared to the likes of Boards of Canada and other members of the electronica elite, it's pretty hard not to be taken with Ulrich Schnauss' beautiful instrumentation and heartfelt compositions. Ulrich's 2001 debut album Far Away trains Passing By and his 2003 release of A Strangely Isolated Place are available as re-releases now with bundles of extra material and much improved sound quality as a result of re-mastering.
Independiente's 2008 release of Far Away Trains... retains the much-loved Knuddelmaus, ...Passing By and Molfsee and are also joined by an exceptional bonus disc of tracks including As If You've Never Been Away, Crazy for You and Wherever You Are. Even if you already own a copy of the original release, you'll want to pick up this re-mastered reissue for the brilliant seven track bonus disc which more than doubles the number of tracks that appear on the album proper.
