Backstage at The Jazz World 2008
Behind Jazzworld, there are lots surprises and the Backstage has been transformed into a sumptuous, carpeted venue, with a 24ft bar. Backstage is open from Wednesday til the early hours of Monday, opening each day from lunchtime until 4am.
When the stage goes down, the lights come up as Backstage picks up the reins. A Cabaret starts every night, with top European acts, contorting and spinning through the air, like only they can. Then, next on the menu, is live music from acts such as Phantom Limb, Destroyers, and Dr.Meaker. Finally DJs play tunes to deliver the final slice of the soundtrack to the afterparty on site.
