We always knew our fifth Bestival would be a landmark event and we weren't wrong! With some truly freakish weather conditions matching our 30,000 Freaks Under The Sea fancy dress theme, this year's Bestival took on a deeply aquatic flavour but true to form the Bestival brethren took to the conditions like er… ducks to water.
Whatever the weather Bestival's magic is all prevailing, so to guarantee you don't miss out on another legendary Isle of Wight adventure we are offering a delicious Early-Bird Ticket deal for Bestival 2009. On sale for a limited period only from midday on Friday 12th September, tickets will cost a bargain basement £120 per person for a weekend ticket.
Sparing a moment from Bestival HQ Rob da Bank said: "Wow what a weekend - in more ways than one! The mud of the Somme with the spirit of Dunkirk as one Isle of Wight wag told me over the weekend. The crazy thing is that me and Josie and John and Ziggy actually feel more positive about this show than any of the others we've done - in large part because of the incredible effort all the festi goers made in the face of adversity and a huge amount of mud! I take my hat off to you one and all. And we've already had literally hundreds of requests for tickets for next year and so are delighted to be going on sale again already! Come rain or shine, but preferably shine, see you next year!"
