DJ-ing since he was 13, DJ Ironik started off playing small clubs in London but his talent was quickly spotted and he was signed to Atlantic Records by the age of 20. After his first self-released single, So Nice led the way in summer 2007, things have just been getting better for this young Londoner. He might be the new kid on the block, but the DJ/Producer/MC's heartfelt music and down to earth attitude has grabbed the attention of an entire generation of fans.
With his highly anticipated debut album, No Point in Wasting Tears, released in September, DJ Ironik has been busy to say the least. He is in the midst of a national tour and ilikemusic caught up with him to have a quick chat about his latest album, working in the studio and what makes him tick.
