Girls Aloud - Cant Speak French
'Can't Speak French' is Girls Aloud's 17th single to date. It is the follow up to 'Call The Shots' which, after its release in November 2007, became one of the girls most successful singles so far topping the national radio airplay chart and staying in the top ten for two months.
Both singles are taken from the album 'Tangled Up', which was welcomed as a pop masterpiece when it was released last November and has proved to be one of the band's most successful releases. The album went straight into the top five of the album charts and has built on the success of their 2006 greatest hits, in typical Girls Aloud style bucking the trend that sees most pop bands claim their biggest success with a hits package. And after five albums the girls have received their first Brit nomination for Best British Group alongside the likes of Take That and Arctic Monkeys.
