Envy - 20 Year Old Rapper and MC from Manchester

Early radio support has come from 1Xtra, XFM, Mary Anne Hobbs at Radio 1, and a session on The Breeze Block. The video for 'Tongue Twister' is directed by top UK talent Mustapha Kseibati.

First of the remixes here comes from Goldielocks; an up-and-coming artist and producer from Croydon, whose catchy hooks, hot looks and production savvy have brought her to the attention of many an A&R man. She has done quite a few commercial remixes but has a clear passion for Grime and has collaborated in some fashion with Example, Tinchy Stryder and Roll Deep's Frisco, as well as Kate Nash and now Envy! She is set for the imminent release of her first single "Wasteman".

Second up we have seminal grime artist Medasyn (aka Caspa Codina), who puts a unique dub spin things, and is followed by the mysterious LingLing. Very little is known of this New York area outfit, including whether it gets its name from the female half of the famous Panda twins or a local Chinese restaurant. The former is suspected because it is known that there are two seemingly inseparable girls in most of their photos. They appeared along with Black Dice, Ratatat and Battles on The Television Personalities Remixes EP (Domino) and have also done remixes for Crystal Castles and Leyode. Notorious for their legendary underground opus 50/50, they are also frequent collaborators with underground U.S. "avant-garde" hip-hop artists including Addiquit, whom they feature in their upcoming single and video "Get Right".
