Envy - 20 Year Old Rapper and MC from Manchester
Bitten by the remix bug upon remixing the track "Judy" for the band that he formed called the Pipettes, Monster Bobby is also their guitarist and a contributing songwriter, and here does another fine job with Envy. More recently, he received wide critical acclaim for his solo album "Gaps". His remixes are quite unique and innovative whilst slyly paying homage to his many influences, from the very earliest innovators of electronic music like Joe Meek and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop all the way to Girls Aloud. Lately he has done remixes for Stuart James and Strange Idols as well. He is very active outside of these endeavours and is starting his own label called Little Other Records, about which little is yet known. His next solo album is forthcoming and is due to be entitled "Forty Winks", which will feature 40 one-minute songs about sleep.
