Grammy Award-winning, Def Jam recording artist and chart topping songwriter Ne-Yo is back. Ne-Yo has released his brand new single Closer which is followed by his third album Year of the Gentleman..

Closer, written by Ne-Yo and produced by Stargate, is the first single from Ne-Yo's third album, and proves it is possible to be classy and funky at the same time. Closer is an electro-excursion in the glam of Euro-disco and was inspired from his time hanging out in London clubs. Fed up with the sloppiness of current RnB, Ne-Yo has returned with a suite of songs that shows exactly what he means by class.

The Las Vegas native has shown himself to be a world-class songwriter, Ne-Yo has written some of the biggest hits including Rihanna's Hate That I Love You and her forthcoming single Take A Bow, Beyonce's Irreplacable, Mario's Let Me Love You as well as working with Celine Dion, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears and Leona Lewis to name a few.

Year of the Gentleman is the follow-up to the 2007 platinum-selling Because Of You, which received this year's Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R&B Album, and the 2006 In My Own Words - which spawned his first UK #1 So Sick.

Ne-Yo is currently in the US on tour with Alicia Keys and will be back gracing our shores in the summer.
